This page collects the trusted references that the project is currently aligning with. Most of the citations mirror the same sources listed under the Codes and Standards guide, but this stub exists so the MkDocs build no longer complains about missing pages.

Section data

  • Steel Construction Institute (SCI) Blue Book & related explanatory notes (UK section properties).
  • ArcelorMittal Orange Book (EU/Arcelor properties).
  • AISC Steel Construction Manual (US section and allowance data).

Design standards

  • Eurocode 3 series (EN 1993-1-1, EN 1993-1-8) plus the UK National Annex.
  • AISC 360-22 and the ASTM steel specifications that feed the US databases.
  • IS 808:2021 / IS 800:2007 (India) and AS/NZS 3679.1 + AS/NZS 5131 (Australia / New Zealand) where those profiles are planned.
